forklift driver training

Forklift Driver Training has changed plenty in the last year as has workplace training.  The onus is on the business to provide a safe workplace and training for its employees.  A business needs to make sure that their forklift operators are sufficiently trained as well as licensed to operate.

More and more in today’s business world we encourage employees to take accountability for their own actions. Productivity is gained through well trained and competent staff, together with the ability to minimize possible work related injuries; these all play a part in the overall productivity of your business. The duty of care legislation and WorkCover suggests correct Forklift driver training should be part of the normal ongoing training register for staff.

It is the duty of a Forklift Driver Training instructor to encourage students to operate their equipment in a productive and safe manner; an emphasis is also placed on the forklift truck and its requirements regarding safety. A safe truck may be driven safely and this will minimize the risk of injury or damage to equipment or product.
